Buell’s Orchard celebrates autumn with annual Harvest Festival

EASTFORD — Buell’s Orchard enjoyed picturesque, sunny weather over Columbus Day weekend, perfect for their annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 10, and Monday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The multi-day event, which draws thousands of people from across New England, featured a chicken barbecue, face painting, live music by Nick Anderson and Shady Creek, wagon rides, apple and pumpkin picking, and ice cream from “Buck’s on the Run.” On Sunday, Oct. 11, the orchard was open from 1-5 p.m., with a food truck by Poultry in Motion.
