Recreation Commission Update

With fall in the air, we’re excited for our Halloween Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 6:30 p.m. in the Tow Office Building parking lot. Bring the kids and enjoy. Or you can decorate your trunk and come help out. If you want to bring your trunk, please register in advance here.

This event is a great way for your kiddos to enjoy a safe Halloween experience with all their friends. We are also looking forward to next year’s Experience Eastford in June. We will be gathering a planning team later in the fall. We plan to move the 5K and Fun Run to a fall date.

Finally, we are excited about new ways we can bring recreation events and fun to Eastford. To do so, we need to grow our team. Maybe you would like to help? Our meetings have moved to the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Come to a meeting and see what it’s like.
