Colonial Days Summer Reading Program participants honored

EASTFORD — Eastford Public Library recently honored adults who completed the Colonial Days Summer Reading Program. Each person worked to complete various reading and historical prompts on their America 250 BINGO cards. The big winner was Kathy Healey, who completed the entire BINGO card. Next was Ronald Jordan, who came in a very close second. Heather Riel and Rebekah Budd (along with her husband John Shatos) came in third and fourth place, respectively. Each winner received Early American-style gifts in recognition of their commitment, love of reading and history, and 1776 spirit. A very special thanks to the Woodstock Country Shoppe for their generous donation and colonial inspiration.
