Created by Michael Yurkovic and admired by folks at the Slater Museum in Pawtucket and the Mill Museum in Windham, it reflects the migration of early American industrial technology know-how and investment across Rhode Island and into Eastern Connecticut. Admission is $5 per person, ages 2 and up. Your admission fee includes s’mores and hot chocolate at the fire pit by the pond. We’ll also have other games to keep visitors occupied, and some sweet treats will be for sale. The donut eating contest is always a hit. Everyone is welcome on the trick-or-treat trail and to get an early start on their Halloween candy collection. No worries about traffic or walking around in the dark. It is the perfect time to break in this year’s costume and take some great photos. Proceeds benefit the Health Center Renovation. This is a great family event and a good chance to check out our camp facilities, enjoy the fall foliage, and meet some of our staff. Windham-Tolland 4-H Camp is located at 326 Taft Pond Rd., Pomfret Center, and may be contacted at (860) 974-1122 or online at www.4hcampct.org.
