Eastford Resident Celebrates Graduation from WA

EASTFORD — Emmanuel Kaberia, of Eastford, graduated Summa Cum Laude with the Woodstock Academy Class of 2026, concluding a high school career defined by academic excellence, leadership, and service.

Kaberia earned Certificates of High Achievement in AP Calculus AB and AP Chemistry, was inducted into the Mu Alpha Theta National Mathematics Honor Society, and received the Edith Wheaton Smith Scholarship and the Dennis S. Barlow Scholarship.

Beyond the classroom, Emmanuel served as Team Manager for the Woodstock Academy Boys Varsity Soccer Team, competed on the Woodstock Academy Math Team, represented the school in the Chemistry Lab event at regional Science Olympiad competitions, and was a student leader in the Faith, Hope & Love Club. These experiences reflect his love for scientific inquiry, mathematical problem-solving, servant leadership, and community engagement.

This fall, Emmanuel will attend the University of Connecticut to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Alongside his studies, he has enlisted in the Air National Guard, where he will proudly serve his country while continuing his education.
