What's Going on at the Eastford Public Library?
The final days of summer are upon us, and I hope you are soaking them in with a good book!
Over the next several months, the library will welcome award-winning writers Paul Trembley, Andrew Clark, and Philip Fracassi. Our one-of-a-kind Author Talks continue to gain popularity as our Library Chair, Jody Blanchette, sits in cozy conversation to discuss their writing, the publishing world, and their life. Her efforts to persuade authors to visit our small, rural town do not go unnoticed, and we are grateful to offer this experience to our patrons. To highlight local talent, the library will also be hosting authors Marie Lisette Rimer and Sharon Yang. Upcoming dates will be posted shortly. Please inquire at the front desk if you have any interest in attending.
In the meantime, the library continues to celebrate America250 throughout August by offering programs for all ages. Stop in — we’d love to see you.
Library hours are Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
