Food Pantry Update

The Eastford Food Pantry is located at the Eastford Baptist Church, 133 Union Rd. Please see our hours of operation at the end of this article. We continue to seek individuals or families who reside in Eastford and are in need of food assistance. If you are in need of food, call Audrey Carabeau at (860) 933-7685 to sign up. We have the resources to help you! All referrals are kept confidential. Delivery is available to those who are homebound.

Thank you to all who donated food, home goods and money in the month of March. A special thank you to TEEG for donating more than 50 boxes of cereal. Your donations are greatly appreciated by our pantry families. The Eastford Food Pantry relies on donations from the community. All donations to the pantry can be dropped off at Bowens Garage or at the Town Office Building during regular business hours. Check donations can be mailed to Eastford Food Pantry, 16 Westford Rd., Eastford, CT 06242.

We are especially grateful for the team sent from Pursuit Aerospace who thoroughly cleaned the Pantry. We appreciate your hard work.

The Eastford Food Pantry has been selected again as a partner in the Stop & Shop Bloomin’ 4 Good Program. The Pantry will receive $1 for each specially marked $11.99 Bloomin’ 4 Good bouquet sold during the month of April at the Putnam Stop & Shop.

Donation suggestions: Canned fruit, healthy snacks, crackers, jelly, pancake mix and syrup, toothpaste, deodorant, laundry detergent.
