'Cookies and Cocoa' Event Brings Festive Fun to Eastford

EASTFORD — The Recreation Commission hosted its annual “Cookies & Cocoa with Santa” event on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Eastford Elementary School gym, providing music, ornament decoration, crafts, treats, and yes — cookies and cocoa. Santa and Mrs. Claus even made a special appearance at the event, spending time to interact with kids of all ages. Music was provided by the Babcock Cornet Band of Ashford.
