EASTFORD — It was a difficult season for the Eastford Bulldogs soccer squad, as their 2025 soccer season concluded on Thursday, Oct. 16, without a victory.

This year’s season consisted of 10 games (five at home, and five away — see schedule below) played on Tuesdays and Thursdays, against Ashford Middle School, Wheeler Middle School (North Stonington), St. James Middle School (Killingly), Parish Hill Middle School (Chaplin), and Pomfret Community School.

The Bulldogs were outscored 73-13 during the season. Sylas Platt finished the year as the Bulldogs’ leading scorer with four goals, Kameron Pacheco and Charlie Ellsworth each had three, Callum St. John had two, and Blake Gilbert had one to round out the scoring.

Head Coach Kullen Pacheco spoke to the Communicator about the season, expressing his pride for the effort his team displayed during the season.

“I’m proud of the effort and commitment the players showed each week,” Pacheco said. “They grew as athletes and as teammates, and I hope they carry those lessons forward both on and off the field.”
