Citizen of the Trimester

EASTFORD — At its meeting on Thursday, April 9, the Eastford Board of Education recognized third grader Savannah DeLay as Citizen of the Trimester. Savannah was selected for this honor by faculty in recognition of her leadership qualities, respect for others and property, encouragement and support of peers, and involvement in school activities. DeLay was presented with a certificate the April 9 meeting by Principal Carole McCombe, while her parents, Travis and Becca DeLay, looked with pride.
